Stewardship is a spiritual attitude about who we are and what we have. It begins with the realization that everything we are and everything we own are gifts freely given to us by God who loves us and calls us into relationship with Himself. We have nothing , not even life itself , which is not a gift from God. With that understanding, comes both a growing awareness of our responsibility to use those gifts wisely, and a desire to somehow " give back" in thanksgiving some share of all we’ve been given. Stewardship is this attitude of responsive and responsible gratitude that brings about a more meaningful life because of our investment of time, talent and resources which brings us closer to Jesus Christ and closer to God.
