The Music Ministry at Holy Rosary is alive and growing fast!! Our Choir has almost 20 members and has an ever increasing repertoire.  In our Church, we have 2 Musical Instruments.    A Yamaha Electone "Stagea" Organ which has a full ensemble sound that can play many diverse styles of music.  Our Principal instrument is a 3 Manual Digital Organ. The organ also has a midi division. We use a Yamaha EMT-10 tone module for it's String sound, classical guitar, and  harpsi-chord settings.  It also has piano sounds, but they are a bit uncomfortable to play from the organ console.

This new instrument replaces our old Yamaha HS-8 organ which was damaged beyond repair during a lighting storm.  It's incredibly lifelike sound lends itself to all kinds of music, making it an excellent choice for contemporary, orchestral, or baroque musical selections.  Although the instrument has a very powerful sound system on board, this organ "speaks" through our Bose audio system.  This fine instruments is not available in the United States, however we were able to find a music retailer who was willing to import one and ship it to us here in Ansonia, CT.  This instrument at the time of purchase, was one of only a few that have been brought to the US.  In Connecticut, it is one of two.  The other is owned by St. John the Evangelist Parish, in Watertown CT.  Don't let its contemporary appearance fool you.  It's a capable and worthy instrument for worship, and we love it.
