For your convenience Festa! 2017 will be configured with all dinner (Pranzo) dishes found along the Via Mangiare on the north side of the festival area. This will be the area with the large tent that runs along the church hall. Dessert items will be located at the western edge of the festival along our famous street, La Dolce Via. Mangia bene!
Lasagna Al Forno : Wide pasta noodles layered with ricotta and mozzarella cheeses, meats, spices and lots of garlic. Slow baked and topped with our special sauce make this a delicious favorite each year.
Fried Dough Pizza : A Holy Rosary festival tradition for 50 years. This pizza fritta (fried dough) is quickly deep fried and topped with our own famous home-made tomato sauce and freshly grated cheese. Also available with confectioner's sugar.
Fried Calamari : Squid, cut into tender rings, dusted with Dominick’s secret coating and deep fried. Served with a mild or spicy marinara sauce for dipping.
Pasta e Fagioli : A hearty dish of delicious ditalini pasta and cannelloni beans. Mixed with diced vegetables and spices in a tomato broth. Top with freshly grated cheese and hot pepper flakes (for the brave!). Served with crusty Italian bread.
Sofritto : Tender cubed veal hearts, sautéed in olive oil with garlic and parsley, then simmered with delicate spices in a marinara sauce. Served with fresh, Italian bread.
Fried Ravioli: A new item by popular request. Tasty cheese filled pockets of pasta deep fried with a crusty dusting of spices. Topped with a fresh marinara sauce.
Porchetta : Oven roasted pork roasts specially seasoned by Festa! 2017 cooks with our own special blend of Italian spices including garlic chunks, parsley, and pepper. Served on a crusty grinder roll.
Ziti with Meatballs : A full platter of Barilla’s penne pasta with our delicious home style meatballs.
Sausage and Pepper Subs: Freshly made sweet Italian sausage grilled to perfection and served with grilled onions and peppers on a crusty grinder roll.
Rib Eye Steak sandwiches : Aged rib eye beef steaks, thinly sliced and piled high on a fresh hoagie roll. Top with onions and peppers if you like. Would you like Cheese?
French Fries : Our fries are deep fried and cooked to order, G.B.D. (Golden Brown and Delicious)
Zeppole : Italian donut holes! One of our most popular items. Sweet dough balls enriched with eggs and ricotta cheese and quickly deep fried. Topped with confectioner’s sugar, cinnamon, or honey. Eat them by the dozen.
Gelato : “Ice cream so divine, you’ll think you’re in heaven”, is the perfectly believable description offered by maker. Hand crafted with 12% butterfat by a local professional gelatier, this delicacy will be the richest, most intensely flavored ice cream you have ever enjoyed. Available to Festa! 2017 visitors in two flavors, Baci Chocolate, and Hazelnut.
Italian Pastries : You can’t leave the festival without sampling a tempting array of delicious freshly made pastry. Festa! 2017 offers such Italian classics as cannoli, pasticioti, tiramisu, and sfogliatelli (“sfool ya dell”).
Coffee : No lattes! Here, you get the real thing! American coffee. If you want, ask for Sambucca for an extra kick!
